From 2015, the head chocolatier brings his expertise from Italy, holding near 20 years of experience. Tesoro Amazónico has since established itself as an award-winning chocolate producer. Holding Organic and HACCP certifications, the company has received numerous gold medals at the International Chocolate Awards. Beyond crafting exceptional chocolate, Tesoro Amazónico is driven by a social vision, working closely with farmers not just to ensure fair pay but also to foster mutual trust and innovation. Collaborating with producers on improving cultivation, fermentation, and drying methods, the company is committed to enhancing the already remarkable quality of Peruvian cacao and growing alongside its partners in the field.

By combining traditional craftsmanship with modern equipment, Tesoro Amazónico ensures that each chocolate bar preserves the authentic aromas and flavour profiles of the cacao beans. The production process involves careful selection, cleaning, and roasting of the cacao beans, with temperatures tailored to their origin. The nibs are refined at low speeds and used to create single-origin chocolate, with cacao butter extracted in-house to enhance the final product. Every step, from bean to bar, reflects a personal touch and commitment to quality.
